Opportunities
Disc Jockey / dj
The current mobile DJ is the most important part of any event. The ability to play great music is not our definition of a good DJ. A good DJ not only plays great music, but plays great music at the perfect times. Transitioning in and out of the many genres of music along with quality song selection and timing are by far the most important attributes of a quality DJ. Being able to mix music or utilize other technical DJ skills do not always make you the party rocking DJ our events call for. We need DJ’s who can read a crowd and change formats on the fly.
Required:
- Must have 3+ years of experience performing as live DJ
- Experience With Current Midi Controllers and Serato Scratchlive/Serato DJ
- Experience performing for audience of 50+ people
- Ability to speak in front of large audiences
- Ability to troubleshoot DJ equipment, sound, and laptop (Mac preferred)
- Ability to setup and operate DJ equipment, sound, and laptop (Mac preferred)
- Must have library of music ranging from 1950 to present day
- Valid drivers license
Recommended:
- Experience using Serato Scratch Live & Serato DJ
- Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Music library containing all types of Latin music
Bonus:
- A vehicle with cargo room to transport equipment
- Have performed at a lounge/bar/club (give reference)
- Music library containing Portuguese, Brazilian, Greek is a plus

EMCEE / Host
The emcee/host of our event becomes the face of the company for that event. Your job is to have a great time while in total control of all formalities that makeup each of the different events. You must be confident in front of a group of people and be able to capture the full attention of our guests without being overwhelming on the microphone.
Required:
- Must have 2+ years speaking in front of large audiences
- Professional and confidence speaking in front of large audiences
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with DJ and team members
- Experience making formal announcements at special events
- Ability to perform and interact with audiences
- Ability to work under pressure and execute all work related tasks
Recommended:
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with clients and venue personnel
- Ability to speak proper English
Bonus:

Production assistant
The Production Assistant is a vital role of our team. They are responsible for assisting the event coordinator (DJ/Emcee/Maitre'd) prior to and during the event. From unloading and setting up equipment, to operating intelligent lighting, dry ice, and TV's, to troubleshooting any technical issues. The Production Assistant must have an understanding of every option we offer and how it operates in the case he or she needs to step in. If you like being on your toes, multi-tasking, and having a good time while crushing it all, then this job for you!
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate with event coordinator and entertainment team
- Quick learner, task oriented, ability to multi-task, and execute under pressure
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25lbs
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Apple products (Macbook, iPad, iPhone)
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues on Apple products
- Ability to neatly run and tape down equipment cables
- Valid drivers license
- Must be a team player
Recommended:
- Understanding of how to setup and operate LED TV's
- Ability to setup and operate intelligent lights and uplighting
- Ability to connect and troubleshoot wireless/bluetooth devices
Bonus:
- Experience operating intelligent lighting software (Emulation)
- Experience working with dry ice machines
- Experience setting up Co2 cables and machines
- Understanding of how to setup and troubleshoot printers
- Electrical knowledge (power outlets, amps, volts)
- Vehicle with cargo space
- Ability to communicate with event coordinator and entertainment team
